Is network marketing good or bad?

Network Marketing is no more on trial....its a proven business model since years now..... and one of the most successful model which anyone can start - with or without an experience into direct sales.

Network marketing is a business of "transfer of faith". Unlike traditional business model, where products are promoted through print/digital media, in network marketing, the mode of product promotion is through "word of mouth" of the end users.

 
We have always been and continue to be walking & talking billboard of various products that we use and trust......we have always been promoting the products that we use and like....by telling to our social network - never paid for such promotion though. Its this mode of promotion that network marketing companies uses and also pays those who are involved with it.

Most registered direct sales companies are all genuine companies and have been in operations since years and operate in multiple countries. Most of these companies have excellent products....

For direct sales, since there are no celebrities or stars to promote such products, the products themselves are "stars" ie., all best products.

When choosing a network marketing product to join as an independent franchise, the key credential that you should check is:

- company's profile

- Is the company registered with WDSA (World Direct Sales Association) or for India (IDSA - India Direct Selling Association)

- The company has "products" and its not just idea / money exchange

- Products have "money-back" guarantee schemes - thereby ensuring consumer's confidence

After all these, what makes a direct sales company apart is its compensation plan.
After you are convinced with the product range, the industry the company represents, please ensure that the compensation plan is good enough.

This is where companies stand apart. While most companies have excellent pay plan for top achievers, after one has created a big organization........or a few which pay during the middle stage......there re only a very few companies which keeps the distributors engaged and ensures that they start getting recognized for their efforts starting early - during the time a new distributor is building foundation to his/her organization.

If you fail to choose a right company from compensation perspective - chances of loosing hope or failure increases.

Remember, network marketing is one of the best business opportunity one can have with minimum investment.
